The eye of the tiger

Trying to translate one of this biggest trends of this spring summer, the pleated skirt, that we saw in several designer collections like Givenchy, Dries Van Noten, Proenza Schouler, Céline, Michael Kors and Nina Ricci- to name a few; I came up with this outfit more likely for winter than spring.
Whit this structure is important to keep the proportions of the body, because this kind of skirt gives a lot of volume on the hip and thigh zone, so that you don´t end up looking like a globe. This skirt would combine perfectly with a straight shirt or a knit top tight on the waist.
Another tip to this look is that, thanks to the nude color of the skirt, you can play with the colors of the rest of the ensemble. This time, I´ve preferred to keep it simple using white and different tones of brown.
